A native of Jacksonville and a graduate of William M. Raines High School, Sherry Blue entered the doors of Edward Waters College, and graduated Cum Laude in 2002 with a Business Administration Degree. She exited with that degree in hand and a fire in the pit of her belly. Ready to conquer the world and make the most of opportunities, she eagerly stepped upon the first rung of the career ladder in Corporate America and took a position with a Fortune 500 company and with focus and determination climbed it all the way to the glass ceiling. Then she broke through it.
Pushed by an inherited entrepreneurial spirit from her parents, she left Corporate America to become a business owner. She went on to start several successful businesses one of which was in a heavily male dominated industry and grew it into multiple locations. She has served in prestigious roles for national organizations, holds positions with multiple Board of Directors, founded a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves young college women in the Jacksonville area, and is a highly sought after speaker, mentor, task member, and think tank group leader.
